SHONGWENI FARMER’S MARKET

If you live in KZN or even just visiting and you appreciate good food made with love and talent then this post is for you. Get outta bed early on Saturday and make your way to the Shongweni Farmer’s Market open 6 am to 11 am in true farmer time and I guarantee the trip is worth it!!! Whilst some argue that markets like this break the bank, they’re actually less expensive because they cut out the middleman. It’s also a more environmentally friendly way to shop, making it pleasuring to the earth and your pocket.  The Market is 100% wheelchair accessible. Known for its diverse products, a large variety of organic foods, and fresh produce to all the exciting crafts.

For the most delectable treats made fresh and I mean Farm Fresh at awesome prices you cannot afford to miss out!!! Traditional English sausages to decadent baked goods, handcrafted organic cheeses, loaves of bread, and rustic French staples like terrines and rillettes. You’ll also find Middle Eastern and Mediterranean specialties from baklava to falafel. If you’re shopping with a conscience you can buy organic veg or a pre-installed, irrigated system to grow your own organic vegetables. Everyday items like bread, milk, cheese, vegetables, and meat, or the more luxurious ones like homemade cakes and pies, we owe it to ourselves to know where our food is made, grown, reared or produced.

For impeccable service and customer-focused vendors selling fare some of us can only but try to make, not to mention the variety go check them out. EVERY VENDOR NO EXCEPTION IS SUPER ATTENTIVE AND PROFESSIONAL WITH A ZEST FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Ample free parking and the sights and sounds of the Kzn landscape complete with a view of the waterfall, making this a must experience in Kzn for sure.
